Greater Des Moines Umpires Association

The Greater Des Moines Umpires Association has been in existence since 1934 serving umpire needs throughout central Iowa.  We are a Des Moines based group, and a member of the Amateur Softball Association (A.S.A), USSSA, Little League Association and both Iowa High School Associations.  Our focus is both adult and youth programs.

Umpires are trained and registered in the type of ball (baseball/softball) they are scheduled to officiate.  Our scheduling secretary will supply umpires for your league, tournament and exhibition games from our membership of 80+ registered umpires.

The Greater Des Moines Umpires Association has certified members that have worked the highest level of tournament ball.  Registered umpires have worked tournament finals in college, high school, adult and many youth organization.
